ATTENTION FIRST TIME BUYERS!!!

It has been recently documented that the UK housing market is reaching rock-bottom and is close to recovering to a normal level!

We are very pleased to announce that house sales have consistently improved during spring and into the summer months. Our sales have progressively improved every week, which definitely creates a positive outlook.

It is apparent that buyer activity remains strong as we have seen traffic on www.stanleybestestateagents.co.uk remaining much higher than expected during May, June and July which are typically quieter months and having increased by over 65% than this time last year.

With growing confidence that we have passed the bottom, buyers are definitely more active. Unfortunately they may discover that many of the best buys are already gone and it is becoming more difficult to purchase property without having other interested parties involved as well.

Generally speaking, when the bottom of the market is documented by the likes of the newspapers and news reports, it will actually have been prior to this.

We feel that the market has reached a low point and most prices are at a reasonable level, although we do not believe that prices are going to shoot back up to where they were before the recession.

There are however still a number of properties available on the market which are unrealistically priced and will need amended to a realistic level before we can see complete normality in the market.
There are grounds for continuing optimism that we have seen the bottom of the market. Confidence is definitely returning and we have seen a change in the number of properties being sold right across the UK.

We are also pleased to announce that we are having to put up more and more Sold signs, which we feel is in turn likely to encourage more people to put their houses up for sale and we have certainly seen evidence of this happening already.
We are not completely back to a normal market yet but we are certainly looking very positive for the future and price reductions are certainly slowing to an affordable level.

Please feel free to contact our office should you wish to discuss this or would like to arrange to get any advice on the possibility of getting a mortgage.
